The Astrid Blood Hand is a prototype mech created by the Baker Arms Corporation, intended to serve as a testbed for a fourth-generation mech. Specialized for close combat scenarios, the Astrid Blood Hand is the third model out of three prototypes developed in parallel by the Algalm Republic alongside partnered private arms companies. It is currently assigned to the 97th Test Strikewing "Raven Swords", an R&D group within the Republic's mechanized forces consisting of Republic military personnel and BAC engineers. It is piloted by ace pilot Ensign Isabel Allende, known by her nickname as the Blood Hunter.
