Sergeant Rime Dausdemond

Sergeant Rime Dausdemond is the squad leader of the complement of Avrora Marines aboard the Lady Kiavyra, a Daggoroh-class Corvette, which consist of a single squad. Under her command are ten marines. Their primary duties include providing security to the Lady Kiavyra and her crew, undertaking boarding actions on enemy vessels, and likewise repelling hostile boarding parties and regular inspection of ships entering the Tarana system.

Rime is an orphan commoner hailing from the forge world of Naazir, her parents having been killed in the line of duty as soldiers in the local planetary defense force during an Archea invasion several decades ago. Due to her being a half-orc and being a child of professional soldiers, she was taken in by the Rhazar Scholaria, a military preparatory institution that takes in orphans to prepare them for a life in the military. Due to her innate prowess in combat due to her race, she excelled in her training and was sent to join basic marine training, later on becoming a fully-fledged Avrora Marine. She had since served in the Avrora Marines with distinction, a veteran of the third Araxis War and the Kronis Campaign. She is currently nearing her years of retirement and having seen enough action to last for a lifetime, decided to spend the rest of her years in the marines in a mostly quiet backwater system thus landing her in her current assignment as a marine squad lead aboard the Lady Kiavyra, a Daggoroh Class Corvette in the Tarana System Defense force.

Note: So Rime was an NPC in a DnD campaign that our GM reused in our current United Aurora Federation Starsector-inspired Starfinder campaign.
