Specialist Tankette

Specialist Tankette is the chief security officer of the Lady Kiavyra corvette, and a member of the Tarana Special Operations Brigade. Responsible for the overall security aboard the ship, she has command over the ship's marines in matters of ship security. Her other duties include acting as an advisor to the captain, and as the ship's liaison officer to the Tarana Headhunter Guild and the mercenary companies hired by the Tarana Colony Government to bolster their defense force against the waves of invading pirates. The most important mercenary company that Tankette must remain in contact with, as far as the whole crew is concerned, is the Living Dead PMC as one of their fireteams are onboard the Lady Kiavyra providing support to the ship's marines.

Tankette hails from the pleasure world of Halvalis, one of the handful of worlds in the Republic to have a predominantly amarantah population. She worked as an entertainer in her homeworld during much of her early years after her creation, immersing herself in her profession and the enjoyable activities that her world offers. Eventually however, boredom crept into her systems as the activities she used to enjoy gradually lost its luster. Encouraged by a regular client of hers, she entered the world of bounty hunting where she found the thrill that she had been craving. Modifying her body through the use of a ghost forge to better suit her newfound interest, she was accepted as an apprentice in the Halvalis' Headhunter Guild where she learned all the skills and tricks needed in her work. Upon completion of her education and receiving her license, Tankette wasted no time and immediately took on as much bounties as she can, travelling all over the galaxy.

In the two decades she worked as a bounty hunter, she earned a reputation as an efficient and surprisingly upbeat hunter. She became known among her peers to regularly employ unorthodox methods to get to her bounties, or in her words, use approaches that "were so stupid nobody would expect it." It was shortly after a successful hunt for the Headhunter Guild that she was approached by a recruiter from the Avrora Specialist Command. Her skills as a hunter and extensive knowledge on how security operations were being handled by a number of high-profile institutions and individuals had put her in the radar of the ASC. Recognizing her potential as a Specialist, The recruiter lured her into military enlistment under the ASC with promises of dangerous yet exciting missions and a steady paycheck. Buying into the recruiter's words, she accepted and enlisted as a Specialist. Her training focused mostly on military operations procedures with advanced courses in combat, security operations, and several other fields deemed needed for her service. She was then assigned to the Tarana Special Operations Brigade upon graduation where she found out how much the recruiter lied to her. Thanks to her contract however, she can't resign and thus was forced to deal with mundane anti-piracy and smuggling operations all of which proved to be dull compared to her previous outings as a bounty hunter.

Now with an entire pirate fleet knocking on the system's door however, she found herself slowly being thrusted into increasingly perilous missions much to her delight. Currently she is serving aboard the Lady Kiavyra, where while most of her days were calm, the regular encounters against pirate battle groups proved to be just the excitement she needed to avoid expiring of boredom. She had formed friendship with Captain Luvera who shares a similar personality to her much to the chagrin of the ship’s, by the book, second officer.
